Alu alloy has lesser self weight.So comparatively lighter support e.g. C or L type can be given below (opposite to the cutting force), but comparatively better clamping arrangement to be given.

Section will deflect more easily, but springs back to original shape. Larger cross – sections/radii at corners given to increase stiffness. Machine with less power (preferably pneumatic type) with clamping/support below for aluminium.
